The information sought by the Deputy is as follows. The total number of salmon caught by netting — 15,621; the value of the salmon — £156,107.
Proceeds of the sale of salmon together with other income received at the fishery is largely used to meet the costs incurred in maintaining and developing the fishery. Since purchasing the fishery no additional costs to the Exchequer have been incurred.
