asked the Minister for Health when a person (details supplied) in Dublin 1 will receive dental treatment for which she applied two years ago, having regard to the fact that the person concerned has a serious infection.

The person in question made an application to the Eastern Health Board for routine dental treatment in June 1988. As she was not in the high priority groups her name was added to the waiting list. If the person now has an infection she should contact her local dental clinic immediately. All health boards continue to provide emergency treatment on demand.
