asked the Minister for Health if he will give details of the number of public geriatric beds in each county for each one thousand of population.

The information requested by the Deputy is set out in the table below. The data relates to December 1988, using the 1986 census of population statistics, in relation to long-stay geriatric beds in health board geriatric hospitals.
