The total allocation in respect of State grants towards development works at commercial and fishery harbours in 1990 is £5.4 million, an increase of 28 per cent on the 1989 allocation of £4.2 million. The increase is mainly attributable to an increased provision for fishery harbour development.
This allocation includes a provision of approximately £240,000 for Drogheda harbour.
