Vol. 393 No. 6

Written Answers. - North Infirmary Hospital.

91.

asked the Minister for Health if he will make a statement on the sale of the North Infirmary Hospital, Cork; and where the money from the proceeds of this sale went.

I understand that the North Charitable Infirmary was sold by the Trustees for a sum of £300,000. I am aware that the trustees propose to transfer the net proceeds from the sale to the Mercy Hospital, i.e. the hospital that assumed major responsibility for services formerly provided at the North Infirmary, after existing liabilities have been cleared.
