As this application was received before 20 February 1986 the applicant was authorised to commence work without an inspection of the house first being carried out. In such cases the amount of the grant payable is determined on inspection following notification that work had been completed. Such notification has not yet been received. If, however, the applicant wishes at this stage to know the amount of the grant payable he may request an inspection which will then be arranged.
