The Chief Executive of the Irish Goods Council will retire on 31 December 1989. I am currently considering the question of a replacement in the context of my ongoing assessment of the efficiency and effectiveness of the State's delivery of support services to industry generally, about which I have already replied separately to the Deputy on 1 November 1989.
