The Revenue Commissioners have advised me that there is no refund of tax due to the taxpayer.
No tax has been deducted in the current year from 6 April 1989 to date he became unemployed. The inspector of taxes has no reason to believe that tax was overpaid in previous years and no claim for a repayment of tax has been received from the taxpayer.
