Vol. 394 No. 4

Written Answers. - Speech Therapist for Special School.

233.

asked the Minister for Health if his attention has been drawn to the need for the provision of a speech therapist at St. Anne's Special School in the Curragh, County Kildare; the means whereby such an appointment might be made in 1990; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The provision of speech therapy services in County Kildare is a matter for the Eastern Health Board and it would be for the board to decide how the staff available to it should be deployed in 1990.

I have received no representations about the provision of a speech therapist at St. Anne's Special School.
