36 Mr. Shatter asked the Minister for Education if she will give sanction to Taney School, Dundrum, Dublin 14 to advertise for tenders for the new school building in order that construction on the new building may commence without delay; and when such sanction will be given.

The question of the provision of extra classroom accommodation is being considered in the context of the large number of projects on hands and the capital available.

It is not possible to say at this stage when sanction for tender placement will be authorised.
