In addition to the Moscow duty free shop joint venture, Aer Rianta have signed similar agreements to operate duty free shops and bars in Leningrad Airport, a downtown shopping complex in Leningrad and a duty free shop on the Finnish border. A joint venture agreement to operate duty free shops in Tiblisi, USSR is also in the process of being registered. It is understood that Aer Rianta have also reached an advanced stage of negotiation for the operation of duty free shops in Kiev and Sochi, a holiday resort on the Black Sea, and that the company are also involved in discussions in relation to the development of a number of other joint venture projects in the Soviet Union and in a number of other countries.
