165 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Health the number and location by health board area of medical consultants employed for each of the past three years; and the total amount paid in fees to such consultants for the same period from the health budgets by health boards.
A table setting out the information requested is being circulated in the Official Report. It should be noted that the amounts listed under the total amount paid in fees heading is in respect of gross payments made to medical consultants for services rendered to public patients. The information on the Mid-Western Health Board will be forwarded to the Deputy as soon as possible.
