102 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for Finance the plans, if any, he has to provide finance for the completion of work at the Millmont Complex, Drogheda, County Louth; the amount of the allocation; when he will give sanction therefor; the reason for the delay in providing the necessary finance which has delayed work on this major national monument complex; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Expenditure on the Millmont Complex, Drogheda, County Louth, by Drogheda Corporation has been approved for ERDF aid of 50 per cent under the special Border areas programme. My Department have been asked to approve further works on the complex for aid under the programme. The matter is being considered in the light of the availability of ERDF funds under the programme and it is expected that a decision will be made shortly.
