Ceist:

118 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for the Environment when he will grant approval for the invitation of tenders for the sewerage scheme on the Mallow Road, Cork; and when he will sanction funds therefore having regard to the fact that the draft contract documents are already with his Department.

Contract documents for the scheme referred to by the Deputy have recently been submitted by Cork Corporation and are under examination in my Department. The question of funding the scheme does not arise at this stage.
