Ceist:13 Mr. T. O'Sullivan asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he has any plans for commercialising any of the activities carried out by agencies under his control in 1990; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

With regard to the commercialising of the activities of the agencies operating under my control, my main objective is that their fee income should be maximised without endangering in any way their developmental remit. In so far as the Deputy's question may relate to the commercial State bodies under the aegis of my Department, I would confirm that I fully support any action which they may take in order to become more commercially viable.
