173 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Energy if he will provide a grant for the repair of the road leading to Direen Bog, Athea, County Limerick as this road is the only access road to the bog for a large number of bog users.
I understand from Bord na Móna that this is one of the remaining outstanding possible projects under the former private bog grants scheme. Bord na Móna have asked the applicants to arrange tenders for the work. On receipt of these tenders the board will be in a position to take decision quickly on the grant application.
