62 Mr. Dempsey asked the Minister for Defence if he is satisfied with the emergency and rescue services at Gormanston Army Camp, County Meath; if he received a report on the recent accident there; and if he will give details of the response of the services to it.
I am satisfied that the crash rescue and emergency services at Gormanston Aerodrome are satisfactory. I am informed that they arrived at the scene of the accident involving a Cessna aircraft on 1 March 1990 within minutes of the alarm being raised.
I would also refer the Deputy to the reply given to Question No. 4 on 8 March 1990.
