Written Answers. - Robertstown (Kildare) Sewerage Scheme.

148 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for the Environment when the plans for the provision of a sewerage scheme in Robertstown, County Kildare, were submitted to his Department by Kildare County Council; the length of time such plans have been in his Department awaiting approval; when the proposals will be considered; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I wish to refer the Deputy to Question No. 62 of 14 November 1989.

This scheme is being considered in the light of the existing commitments under the sanitary services programme and the competing demands for other schemes. I cannot say at this stage when I will be in a position to approve this proposal.
