105 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for the Marine if a grant has been sanctioned for the repair of Cladagh Na gCaorach Pier, Kilcar, County Donegal; the amount allocated; if he will give details of the work to be carried out; when it is envisaged that work will start on the project; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Proposals for a replacement to the existing timber extension at Cladagh Na gCaorach pier are being considered. The question of financing the work, the details of the works to be undertaken and a timescale for their implementation are among the matters being examined by my Department at present.
