Ceist:127 Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Social Welfare the reason for the delay in issuing payment of disability benefit to a person (deails supplied) in County Cork.

A decision on the authorisation of disability benefit for the person concerned was suspended pending examination by a medical referee, as the claimant had been found capable of work on her previous claim. An examination has been arranged for Tuesday, 10 April 1990.
Her entitlement to payment of disability benefit will be reviewed in the light of the medical referee's report following this examination.
