272 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for the Environment the way in which he plans to improve the safety of the traffic situation at Collon, County Louth; if he is aware of the continuing dangers there to the population, pedestrains and motorists alike; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Following submissions from Louth County Council regarding traffic in Collon village, the local authority were asked to prepare a composite public lighting and junction improvement scheme for the village. It is understood from the local authority that this scheme will be submitted to my Department for consideration in the near future.
