Ceist:339 Mr. T. Kitt asked the Minister for Education the number of primary school building projects which are proposed for 1990.
Written Answers. - Primary School Building Projects.
It is expected that approximately 50 major projects will be dealt with by my Department's primary building branch. You may also wish to note that in three years, 1987 - 1989, 160 new schools and permanent extension projects have been completed.
Because of the number of stages involved in a primary schools' building project and the factors which can affect progress — some of which are outside the control of my Department — I am not in a position to give the exact information requested.
