341 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Education if primary school facilities are adequate for teaching purposes at a school (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; if she will make funds available towards the provision of a new school; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
The principal teacher of the school has requested that a number of improvements be carried out at the school and my Department's local architect is examining this. When the architect's report is available the matter will be further considered. Meanwhile my Department's local inspector will examine the whole question of the classroom accommodation in consultation with the school authorities.
