Ceist:346 Mr. Moynihan asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the proposed new community school in Kenmare, County Kerry; and the pupil population for which the new school will cater.

Architectural planning of the proposed Kenmare community school has reached Stage 3 — developed sketch scheme — of my Department's design team procedures.
In common with all other school building projects, this project is currently being reviewed in the context of anticipated pupil enrolments for both the short and long-term. When this review is completed a decision will be taken as to the schedule accommodation required for the new school.
