145 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for Justice if his Department will grant naturalisation to a person (details supplied) in County Louth; when it will be granted; the reason for the delay in this regard; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The person referred to in the question submitted an application for naturalisation in May 1989. Inquiries are continuing in relation to the application and further information has been sought from the applicant.
