Ceist:236 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Tourism and Transport the reason for the delay in having the application of a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny for a haulage licence processed.

The processing of the application in question has not yet been completed because it has not been possible for my Department to establish that the application meets the licensing requirements. However, I can assure the Deputy that everything possible is being done to expedite a decision in this matter.
