Ruairí Quinn

Ceist:

73 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Health if he will give a breakdown of the recent additional allocation of moneys for services for people with a mental handicap, including a recent allocation from the national lottery; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 47 and 73 together. The recent allocation from the national lottery for services for people with mental handicap is in addition to extra moneys announced in the budget.

An estimated breakdown of the budget allocation of moneys for these services is set out in the tabular statement which will be circulated in the Official Report. Final decisions have not yet been reached on the distribution of the national lottery allocation for health services.
