128 Dr. Lee asked the Minister for Labour the purchase price paid by CERT for the acquisition of the former Stafford/Freeney site located at Amiens Street/Seville Place, Dublin 1; the projected cost of the project including the purchase price and the architects fees; and the expected commencement and completion date of the project.
It is not normal practice to divulge information on commercial transactions until all financial matters and contracts have been finalised. This approach is influenced by the need to minimise State expenditure. Accordingly, I am not in a position to provide the information sought by the Deputy in relation to the site in Amiens Street which has been acquired by CERT from Properties Limited and Skyline Properties Limited for an integrated headquarters and training centre. It is expected that the project will commence later this year and be completed by the end of 1991.
