Ceist:

45 Tomás Mac Giolla asked the Minister for Defence if, arising from the statement he made in reply to Parliamentary Question No. 7 of 8 March 1990, he has talked to the military authorities regarding the possible simplification of Defence Forces regulations; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I have raised with the military authorities the question of formulating an approach to the problem of simplifying Defence Force Regulations. The matter is a complex one and will take some time to resolve.
