Ceist:126 Mr. J. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Justice the steps which have been taken to inform peace commissioners of (1) the High Court decision of 6 July 1989 that their statutory power to decide whether to grant bail is unconstitutional and (2) the recent Supreme Court decision on the invalidity of search warrants issued by peace commissioners based on the suspicion of the requesting Garda officer.
