Vol. 398 No. 8

Written Answers. - Lucan By-Pass.

Austin Currie

Ceist:

135 Mr. Currie asked the Minister for the Environment if he will make moneys available to Dublin County Council in order that flowers and shrubs can be planted along the Lucan by-pass adjacent to Palmerstown, Dublin 20, in order to bring this stretch of the by-pass up to the standard of landscaping on the remainder of the road; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The 1990 Exchequer provisions for road grants have been fully allocated. At present, there are no funds available from which additional allocations could be made towards the cost of the work in question.
