Ceist:

160 Mr. Nealon asked the Minister for Education if she will outline in respect of herself and her Minister of State (a) the number of special advisers (other than career civil servants) appointed (b) their names (c) their remuneration and (d) whether the appointments are on a full or part-time basis.

There is one special adviser in my Department. The adviser's name is Margaret Walshe. Her appointment is on a full-time basis and her salary is equivalent to that of a principal officer, higher scale, in the Civil Service.
