Written Answers. - Control of Horses Legislation.

52 Dr. Lee asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he intends to introduce any new legislation to control the plight of horses and donkeys, stray and otherwise, in the perimeters of our large cities and towns, in light of the Control of Horses Bill which lapsed with the dissolution of the last Dáil.

New legislation is not required. Enforcement of existing legislation should be sufficient to deal with any such problems. The Bill in question was not introduced by me.
