226 Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for Education the progress which has been made on the extension to Longwood vocational school, County Meath; when work will commence; when it is expected to proceed to stage four; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
Architectural planning of this project has reached stage four (i.e. working drawings) of my Department's design team procedures.
However, in common with all other school building projects, the Longwood vocational school project is currently being reviewed in the context of demographic trends and projected short and long-term pupil enrolments in the school.
