78 Mr. McCartan asked the Minister for Justice if his attention has been drawn to a proposal by a developer (details supplied) to build a new Garda station at Ayrfield, Dublin 13; if he welcomes such a development; and if he will provide the necessary resources to enable the station to be manned and operated.

There is no proposal to establish a Garda station at Ayrfield and no approach has been made to me or to the Garda authorities in relation to the provision of a building for such a purpose.
