Vol. 399 No. 10

Written Answers. - Irish Observers at Appeal.

Roger T. Garland

Ceist:

74 Mr. Garland asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs if, with regard to the appeal of a person (details supplied) in the United Kingdom, he intends to send observers to the appeal; if this case has been raised through the Anglo-Irish Conference; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

To the extent considered appropriate and necessary, cases of this kind are monitored by the embassy in London. While it is not the intention at present to send an official observer to the appeal in question, the matter will be kept under continuing review.

This case has not been raised at the Anglo-Irish Conference.
