Ceist:141 Mr. Nealon asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the number of farmers in County Sligo who received installation grants (a) in 1989 and (b) to date in 1990; and the number of applicants still awaiting payment.

Some eight grants were paid in 1989 and three to date in 1990 to farmers in County Sligo under the scheme of installation aid for young farmers. A further nine cases are at various stages of processing.
