Ceist:217 Mr. Nealon asked the Minister for Education the action she proposes to take on the applications, made to her Department, for the establishment of a College of Music in Sligo; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

My Department has already indicated to Town of Sligo VEC that it is unfortunately not in a position to accede to its request for funding for the establishment of a school of music in Sligo.
