242 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Education if there are faculties for any of the following languages in Irish Universities (i) Chinese, (ii) Japanese and (iii) Arabic; if so, if she will outline the details; and, if not, the plans there are to provide such facilities.

B.A. in International Marketing and Languages— Optional course in Japanese. |
B.B.S. degree (Business Studies and a Modern Language) Japanese is available as an option. |
