72 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for Defence if he will outline in respect of the reserve forces the strength each month of each line (a) by rank (b) corps and (c) total, between 31 December 1989 and 30 June 1990 inclusive; the recruitment by corps and command for each month between December 1989 and June 1990; the numbers discharged by category for each month between December 1989 and June 1990; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
The material requested by the Deputy is available for the period 31 December 1989 to 30 May 1990 only. The information on recruitment to the FCA and An Slua Muiri by Corps, and details of transfers to the reserve by Corps and Command are not to hand at present. The outstanding information will be forwarded to the Deputy as soon as it is available.
