Ceist:97 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Education if she will sanction eligible part-time teachers status in respect of a teacher (details supplied) who is employed by Waterford Vocational Education Committee.

My Department are currently in contact with the County Waterford VEC in regard to the eligibility of this teacher for inclusion in the eligible part-time teacher scheme. A decision on the matter will be conveyed to the committee as soon as possible.
