Ceist:72 Mr. Connaughton asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason a person (details supplied) in County Longford was not allocated land on an estate (details supplied) which was divided recently.

As the allocation of land is a matter reserved by law to the Land Commissioners I have no function in the matter.
I understand that the applicant in question was recently offered an allotment of land — which he refused.
