Ceist:209 Mr. McGrath asked the Minister for Education the number of temporary personnel employed by her Department in Athlone, County Westmeath in the years 1985 to 1990, inclusive.
Written Answers. - Departmental Temporary Staff.
The total number of temporary staff employed in the examination branch of my Department in Athlone in each of the years 1985 to 1990 is as follows: 1985, 71; 1986, 86; 1987, 53; 1988, 72; 1989, 101; 1990, 69.
To assist in the introduction of the computerisation of the certificate examinations in 1989 my Department's examinations branch requested additional temporary personnel for that year.
