Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given to me under Standing Order 23, and the name of the member in each case.

I have selected Deputy Michael Ferris in respect of the reason for non-payment of Christmas bonuses to workers on social employment schemes, Deputy Tony Gregory in respect of the case of the Birmingham Six as it now stands, Deputy Pat Rabbitte in respect of the crisis in the mental handicap services and specifically the scandal at Cheeverstown House, Deputy Shatter on the position of the Romanian children and other foreign children adopted outside of Ireland by Irish couples and the subject matter of a reply to Question No. 39 of 31 October, 1990, and Deputy Michael Kitt in respect of the decentralisation of Government offices to Tuam in County Galway, Deputy Pat McCartan in relation to delays in the housing refurbishment at Darndale Dublin and the consequent waste of public moneys. I have selected the following for discussion: Deputy Alan Shatter, Deputy Tony Gregory and Deputy Michael Ferris.
