Ceist:36 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for the Marine the occasions on which a public inquiry has been held concerning an application for a foreshore licence.
Written Answers. - Foreshore Licence Application.
Under the terms of the Foreshore Act, 1933, the Minister for the Marine is empowered, if he thinks fit, to hold a public inquiry in regard to the granting of foreshore leases or licences under the Act.
As far as my Department is aware, no such inquiries have been held to date.
