178 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for Education the discussions or communications which she or her Department have had with UCD in relation to the proposed acquisition and use of Carysfort College, Blackrock, County Dublin; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
I have had a number of informal meetings with a representative group from UCD. I am not as yet in a position to make a statement on this matter.
179 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for Education the plans she has for the use of moneys being recovered by the State as a result of the sale of Carysfort College, Blackrock, County Dublin; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
The moneys in question were recovered by me for the State as Exchequer extra receipts. Such receipts must be credited directly to the Exchequer.
