Written Answers - National Lottery Funding.

Ceist:

88 Mr. Taylor asked the Minister for the Environment if his attention has been drawn to the urgent need for lottery funding for a club (details supplied) in Tallaght, Dublin 24; if the club is being considered for an allocation in the next dispersal of lottery funds; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

This project was not among those recommended to me for consideration for a grant under the 1990 amenities/ recreation facilities grant scheme. The full £6.5 million made available to me under that scheme has been allocated but it would be open to the project sponsors to apply for a grant in the event of a further similar scheme.
