110 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Health the reason the allocation of cash paid over to the health boards, in this current financial year, has been reduced from 95 per cent to 89.57 per cent of the approved health grant allocation.
A proportion of the total cash available to health boards is being used in 1990 to clear prior year balances. While this has the effect of reducing recoupment rates in respect of 1990 expenditure the overall level of cash available to health boards has not been reduced.
