Ceist:122 Mr. Ferris asked the Minister for Education if she will give approval to Tipperary South Riding Vocational Education Committee to purchase a playing field adjacent to Scoil Ruain, Killenaule, County Tipperary.

As the Deputy will be aware, there are many applications before my Department for the provision of new schools and extensions to provide much needed teaching accommodation.
The position is that at present all available capital resources are committed to addressing this need.
In the circumstances I am not in a position to say when it will be possible to provide funds for the acquisition of a playing field for Scoil Ruain, Killenaule.
