Ceist:55 Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Finance when tax relief will be awarded to persons (details supplied) in County Cork in respect of their mortgage.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the inspector of taxes has no record of receipt of a claim for mortgage interest relief from the taxpayer.
The taxpayer should contact the inspector of taxes dealing with her tax affairs with the details necessary to bring her tax affairs up to date.
